IBM Global Marketing Center – Bucharest is looking for talented and proactive people to join its team.

The objective of the Center is to act as the marketing engine for IBM across Europe, driving and assisting in a variety of marketing campaigns spanning a spectrum of products and business units.

We are looking for Social Media Specialists that will be working across the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) market, with a focus on the Russian market.

The role will be divided into 2 main focus areas: Social Insights and Social Conversation Management.

As Social Insights Analyst you will be required to develop compelling and creative analyses that provide actionable insights based on observed social media content and online behaviors. The role requires strong digital and social media skills, quantitative and qualitative analytics and an ability to extract meaningful strategic and tactical insights from looking through large structured and unstructured data sets.

Specific Responsibilities:

 – Be the eyes and ears across social media, proactively providing alerts, insights and recommendations.
 – Publish periodic SOCIAL INSIGHTS Dashboard based on monitoring and analysis of social channels – identify relevant pressing issues, threats, and opportunities
 – Implement listening queries in social media measurement tools to monitor “brand-specific” online conversations in target/region relevant sites. And implement response mechanisms.
 – Proactive inputs to SEO teams on ad-word usage/response, relevant digital destinations and key influencers in social eco-system
 – Build Social Sentiment Indices (SSI), and visually represent KPIs.
 – Contribute to the creation of Assets, frameworks and the education of marketing and communications peers.

As Social Conversation Management Specialist, you will develop communities of interest, manage and monitor social conversations around IBM’s growth plays in the growth markets to increase digital interactions, drive positive sentiments and create business pipeline. The role requires a strong understanding of social communities and how they contribute to mind- and market-share growth.

Specific Responsibilities:

– Build and nurture a community of IBM SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) for each selected category/growth play.

 – Train, coach, assist the SMEs to initiate and sustain communities of interest across the most appropriate social venues – twitter, facebook, linkedin, etc.

 – Monitor activity and integrate with other social media tactics to drive advocacy/ evangelism of IBM’s differentiation for each category/growth play.

 – Create conversation management, response and crisis management protocols.

 – Collaborate with SMEs, global/local digital teams to identify compelling assets and engage in content curation to stimulate interactions and social conversations.

 – Execute plans to increase number of interactions and deepen the value of the interactions. Enable Science of Nurture tactics through the conversations.

 – Actively engage in social listening by collaborating with the Social Insights teams to identify opportunities to drive social conversation in support of local marketing tactics.

 – Contribute to the creation of Assets, frameworks and the education of marketing and communications peers.

Skills & Experience Required

 – Previous experience in Social media for B2B (research and analysis, working with and understanding of differences between social channels – Twitter, Linkedin, etc.);
 – Hands-on experience working with social media listening tools;
 – Work experience with social media insights, reporting or analytics tools (i.e., Facebook insights, YouTube Insights, etc.);
 – Russian – advanced knowledge;
  Strong knowledge of and interest in social media data, APIs and trends;
 – Ability to connect conversation’s that are organic into our business focus areas;
 – Ability to tie-back organic conversations to our business priorities;
 – Demonstrated consultative skills and ability to extract insights from large volumes of data;
 – Strong Project Management and ability to work effectively with virtual teams;
 – Strong communication and presentation skills;
 – Must have strong business writing skills;
 – Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.

Please note that in this role you are required to have advanced Russian and English skills.
